Counselling For Identity & Self-Esteem

When the way you see yourself starts to feel complicated.

The way we see ourselves can change over time.

Sometimes you may feel confident and comfortable in who you are. Other times, you may find yourself questioning yourself, comparing yourself to other people, or wondering whether you're enough.

Maybe something has changed in your life. Maybe a relationship has affected how you see yourself. Maybe you're figuring out who you are outside of other people's expectations. Or maybe you've been hard on yourself for a long time and aren't sure how to relate to yourself differently.

For some people, questions of identity can also include gender, sexuality, culture, family, belonging, or the experience of being understood — or not understood — by the people around you.

You don't have to have a clear answer about who you are before reaching out.

At Sholinder Counselling Collective, we take a warm, collaborative, practical, and strengths-based approach to counselling. We'll start with your experience and work together to understand what's shaping the way you see yourself and what you want to feel differently.
